1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase of any product from Breedo Enterprises or from any of the brand storefronts we operate.

By placing an order you accept these terms. Please read them before you buy. If you do not accept them, do not place an order.

2. Who you are buying from

Breedo Enterprises is the seller of record for every order. We own and operate the following brand storefronts, each of which is a trading name of Breedo Enterprises and not a separate company:

• Hunk Alley — style, confidence and self-presentation. Order numbers begin HA-; card statements show BREEDO* HUNK ALLEY.
• Breedo Way — discipline, direction and the long road. Order numbers begin BW-; card statements show BREEDO* BREEDO WAY.
• Article 78 Justice — process, rights and holding power to account. Order numbers begin A78-; card statements show BREEDO* ART78 JUSTICE.

3. Definitions

• “We”, “us”, “our” — Breedo Enterprises.
• “You” — the person placing an order or using the site.
• “Brand storefront” — any of the websites listed in section 2, all operated by us.
• “Products” — books, digital editions, apparel and other merchandise offered for sale.
• “Order” — your offer to buy Products from us, which we accept as described in section 4.

4. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you receive the automatic order acknowledgement.

We may decline an order, in whole or in part, where the product is out of stock, where we have identified a pricing or description error, where we cannot deliver to your address, or where we suspect fraud or a breach of these terms. If we decline an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address and contact details you give us.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on each brand storefront in the currency stated at checkout. We state clearly at checkout whether tax is included and what shipping will cost before you pay.

We accept payment by card, and by digital wallets and PayPal where offered. Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal into accounts held in the name of Breedo Enterprises. We do not store your full card details.

On your bank statement, a charge from us will show a descriptor beginning BREEDO followed by the brand you ordered from, so you can recognise it. If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank — we can usually resolve it the same day.

Payment must clear in full before we dispatch. If a payment is reversed after dispatch, we may recover the goods or the amount owed.

6. Delivery

Delivery destinations, costs and estimated timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your cancellation and return rights, the condition goods must be in, and how and when we refund you are set out in our Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Digital products

Where we sell a digital edition, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and read it for your own use. You may not redistribute, resell, or upload it, or strip any rights-management information from it.

Download links are issued by email once payment clears. Because digital products are supplied immediately, the right to cancel ends once the download has begun — this is set out again in the Refund and Return Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the site or any brand storefront for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
• place orders using a payment method you are not authorised to use;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems;
• scrape, copy or republish our content beyond normal personal use; or
• interfere with the operation of the site or its security features.

We may suspend or close an account, and decline future orders, where these terms are breached.

10. Intellectual property

All text, book content, cover artwork, photography, brand names, logos and designs on this site and on our brand storefronts are owned by Breedo Enterprises or licensed to us. The names Hunk Alley, Breedo Way and Article 78 Justice, and the marks associated with them, are ours. You may not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

11. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for any breach of your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed, nor for business losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Our books are works of opinion and narrative. They are not legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and Article 78 Justice in particular is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. Do not rely on any of our books in place of professional advice.

12. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier failures, industrial action, extreme weather, supplier or print-partner failure, and interruptions to public networks or payment systems. Where such an event occurs we will contact you, and you may cancel the affected order for a full refund.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The date at the top of this page shows when this version took effect.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from a contract formed under them, are governed by the law of the country in which Breedo Enterprises is registered, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections in the country where you live.

Before starting any formal process, please contact us — most matters are resolved quickly by email.

15. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continue in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under a contract with us without our consent; we may transfer ours, for example if the business is sold, so long as it does not reduce your rights.
